Roman Schuppisser

Roman Schuppisser (born in 1975, Swiss) has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Helsana Group since October 2023. He joined Helsana in April 2015 as Head of Risk Management and Corporate Development, before becoming Head of Customer Service for the Central Plateau Region in 2018. Alongside his family duties at home, he has been in charge of Controlling and Corporate Development at Helsana since 2021. In this role, he also serves as deputy CFO and a member of the Board of Directors of Helsana HealthInvest AG, a subsidiary corporate venture of Helsana.

After gaining his Federal Vocational Baccalaureate in commerce at an insurance company, Roman Schuppisser completed his studies part-time at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration (HWV). While subsequently employed for a global auditing firm, he qualified as a certified auditor and worked abroad for several years. He is very well-networked in the insurance industry and has completed further training in strategic management and digital transformation.
