Helsana is joining the SIA in 2016

Both in the field of compulsory health insurance (OKP) pursuant to the Federal Health Insurance Act/Health Insurance Supervision Act and in the field of supplementary insurance in accordance with the Federal Act on Insurance Contracts/Insurance Supervision Law, insurers are faced with a continually increasing level of regulation. Regulation is not always sensible for the system or in the interests of policyholders.

The rapidly increasing regulatory pressure threatens the creation of a competitive, liberal Swiss private insurance system. That is why Helsana is joining the Swiss Insurance Association (SIA) in 2016, in order to help it with its work and to play an active role.

Therefore, all members of Curafutura will also be SIA members from the New Year. An agreement concluded between Curafutura and the SIA ensures a consistent political agenda where health insurance issues are concerned.
