Michael Kohler is the new Managing Director of Procare AG

Michael Kohler (37) has been appointed the new Managing Director of the Helsana subsidiary Procare AG by its Board of Directors. He will take up his new role on 1 November 2021. Procare Vorsorge AG is active across Switzerland and functions as a central link between Helsana customer advisors and agents for the life and non-life insurance solutions of Swiss insurance companies. Chairman of the Board of Directors Roger Stieger is pleased with the selection: “We are lucky to have Michael Kohler, a proven insurance expert. He will ensure that we continue to offer our customers attractive services that meet their needs.” Michael Kohler is looking forward to the new challenge: “The market and customer concerns are changing all the time. Trust in a partner like Procare, which meets these changes with quality services and needs-based products and offers added value, is all the more important. This will be our ambition.”

Most recently, Michael Kohler was a division head at AXA-ARAG Rechtsschutz AG where, in addition to the cooperation channel, he was responsible for group customer business and direct sales. Prior to that, he worked at Zurich Switzerland and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Michael Kohler originally completed an apprenticeship as a paper technologist and then continued his training as an industrial technician at a technical college. In 2015, he completed his bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering at the Swiss Distance University of Applied Sciences (FFHS). In 2020, he completed a CAS in Leadership from the University of St. Gallen. Michael Kohler is married with one daughter.
