Teeth help us to chew, swallow, talk and much more. They’re an essential part of our smile too. Their condition has an impact on our health – both mental and physical.
Healthy teeth do wonders for our well-being and wallet – after all, dental treatment isn’t cheap. However, saving money and letting painful or unhealthy teeth go untreated for too long is a health risk. Left untreated, an inflammation in the oral cavity can lead to bacteria spreading throughout your body via the bloodstream. This increases the risk of a heart attack. An unhealthy tooth can also trigger ailments elsewhere in the body and has a significant impact on the health of our joints and organs.
Jaw misalignment can also affect our physical health. This is because our masticatory system is linked to our entire body via our nerves and muscles. Undue stress on the jaw muscles or temporomandibular joint may, for example, lead to tension in the back and neck or to headaches. Other symptoms include dizziness, earache and even tinnitus.
Dental health can be managed up to a certain point with the right dental care and regular dental check-ups. Do you have a history of misaligned teeth in your family? In that case, taking out dental insurance ahead of time could prove worthwhile for you. Dental insurance contributes towards the costs of dental treatment such as braces and other, generally expensive interventions.

Do you need to have your wisdom teeth removed? Do you want to correct a misaligned jaw or teeth? Or do you need dentures? With our insurance policies, we contribute to the following costs:
COMPLETA
Insured persons receive 75% of the costs in connection with teeth and jaw misalignment up to a maximum of CHF 10,000 per calendar year up to the age of 21.
DENTAplus BRONZE
You will receive 50% of the costs of dental treatments, orthodontics and oral surgery as well as dental hygiene up to a maximum of CHF 1,000 per calendar year.
Baby Package
You will receive 75% of the costs of braces up to a maximum of CHF 10,000 per calendar year. You will receive 50% of the costs of fillings in the event of cavities, the extraction of wisdom teeth as well as dental hygiene up to a maximum of CHF 1,000 per calendar year.
