Compassana – the digital service for your health

- Create an account and choose ‘Log in with insurance account details’, then ‘myHelsana’.
- Register using your myHelsana login details.
- Follow the registration steps and your account will soon be connected to Compassana.

How you can optimise Compassana
The more you personalise the Compassana patient app, the better it can support you. Here’s what you can do:
- Activate insurance guide: In Compassana, enter the insurance model you use in your basic insurance. This will ensure that you receive recommended treatment steps that are appropriate for your insurance. In the ‘Initial contact’ tab, select the ‘Activate insurance guide’ function.
- Approve medication list: If your medications are displayed in the Compassana app, this will increase the safety and quality of your treatment. To do this, simply approve your medication list in the myHelsana app. Once you have done that, all medications that Helsana has invoiced for you will automatically be visible in Compassana too.
Who can use Compassana?
Compassana is for anyone aged 18 or over who wants to maintain an overview and organise their health more easily. You can see information such as medications, treatments and contacts. However, Compassana is also mandatory for all insured persons who have opted for the BeneFit PLUS Flexmed basic insurance. Including for initial assessments: in the case of acute health problems, persons insured with Flexmed should use the Compassana symptom checker as a first port of call. They will receive an initial assessment and a recommendation for further treatment steps. They then decide whether to use the telemedicine consultation service or see their GP.

Compassana is a joint project carried out by Helsana, Groupe Mutuel, Swica, Medbase, Hirslanden, Lucerne Cantonal Hospital and the software company Trifork. It allows us to optimise the coordination and processes involved in healthcare and significantly improve the quality of treatment. New features are continually being added to the app.
Health data entered in Compassana belongs to you alone. Only you have access to your account. And only you decide with whom the contents of the app are shared. The app features the highest data protection and technical standards and recommendations. Even Helsana cannot access data that you enter into Compassana.
Lots! The myHelsana client portal is for insurance matters. You use myHelsana to manage your insurance documentation and to see the current status of your deductible or any outstanding invoices.
Compassana lets you manage your medical appointments and medical documentation, from prescriptions and doctor’s reports to lab results. You can also use the app to share documents and messages with your GP or other healthcare partners. What’s more, extra practical features are continuously being added to support you with your healthcare.
