- Contact lenses**: CHF 271 every two calendar years if contact lenses lead to a significant improvement compared to glasses
- Contact lenses**: CHF 632.34 per eye in the event of irregular astigmatism, keratoconus or diseases and injuries of the cornea
- Outpatient cataract surgery: CHF 400 per eye for a standard lens provided it is billed according to Tarmed. If the service provider bills at a flat-rate charge, the cost of the standard lens is included in the flat-rate charge
- Scanning laser ophthalmoscopy: 100% of the costs in the case of hard-to-treat glaucoma
- Refractive surgery using an intraocular lens: 100% of the costs following cost approval in the event of anisometropia of more than 10 dioptres in combination with keratotomy
- Laser or surgical keratotomy: 100% of the costs following cost approval in the event of anisometropia of more than 3 dioptres that cannot be corrected by glasses as well as chronic contact lens intolerance
