Who would suit HOSPITAL Semi-Private and Private insurance?
Is your privacy important to you? HOSPITAL Semi-Private insurance entitles you to a two-bed room, while HOSPITAL Private gets you an individual room. Semi-Private or Private hospital insurance is worth having if supplementary benefits are important to you, for example getting expert second opinions or quick access to specialists.
Which benefits do you get with Semi-Private and Private insurance?
HOSPITAL Semi-Private and Private insurance allows you to choose from doctors and hospitals anywhere in Switzerland. You also have more privacy in hospital because you are given an individual room or a two-bed room. You are also entitled to the following supplementary benefits:
Expert second opinion
A second doctor’s opinion may be the way forward if you are uncertain whether a recommended treatment or operation is right for you. An expert second opinion gets you direct access to renowned professors.
Fast Track
If you want to see an ophthalmologist or orthopaedist, you sometimes have to wait several weeks for an appointment. With Fast Track, you don’t have to wait as long. You will be given an appointment at one of our partner clinics within five working days.
Helsana selects the partner clinic. You are not entitled to be treated by a specific specialist.
