Hospital: insured benefits

• Hospital stays in Switzerland: 100% of costs, up to the maximum tariff for your canton of residence – less hospital cost contribution, deductible and excess– for the stay, care and treatment in a general ward (multi-bed room)
• Hospital: you have a free choice among all the hospitals in Switzerland on the cantonal hospital lists (known as “listed hospitals”)
• Hospital stays abroad: in the case of inpatient emergency treatment in EU and EFTA countries, benefits are paid in accordance with the social insurance system in the country where you are staying. In all other countries abroad, a maximum of twice the amount of costs is covered which would be incurred in Switzerland for the same treatment.

• Hospital stays in Switzerland: 100% of costs for your stay, care and treatment in the general ward (multi-bed room)
• Hospital: you have a free choice among all the hospitals in Switzerland on the cantonal hospital lists (known as “listed hospitals”).
• Planned hospital stays abroad: up to CHF 500 per day for up to 60 days per calendar year with a prior request for payment of costs
• Emergency hospital stays abroad: up to CHF 500 per day for up to 60 days per calendar year until repatriation to Switzerland is feasible
• Household help: CHF 30 per day for a maximum of 30 days per calendar year
• Nanny service: maximum of 30 hours nanny services per calendar year for a parent’s inpatient hospital stay
• KidsCare: maximum of 30 hours per calendar year

• Hospital stays in Switzerland: 100% of costs – less any agreed hospital deductible – for the stay, care and treatment in a semi-private ward (two-bed room)
• Rooming-in: maximum of CHF 100 per day for 15 days per calendar year to accommodate an accompanying person
• Hospital: free choice of hospital anywhere in Switzerland
• Doctor: free choice of doctor anywhere Switzerland
• Travel costs for inpatient procedures: maximum of CHF 250 per calendar year for proven costs of travelling to and returning from the hospital in Switzerland
• Planned hospital stays abroad: up to CHF 1,500 per day with a prior request for payment of costs
• Emergency hospital stays abroad: up to CHF 1,500 per day until repatriation to Switzerland is feasible
• Household help: CHF 100 per day for up to a maximum of 30 days per calendar year
• Nanny service: maximum of 60 hours nanny services per calendar year for a parent’s inpatient hospital stay
• KidsCare: maximum of 60 hours per calendar year

• Hospital stays in Switzerland: 100% of costs – less any agreed hospital deductible – for the stay, care and treatment in a private ward (one-bed room)
• Rooming-in: up to a maximum of CHF 200 per day for 15 days per calendar year to accommodate an accompanying person
• Hospital: free choice of hospital anywhere in Switzerland
• Doctor: free choice of doctor anywhere Switzerland
• Travel costs for inpatient procedures: maximum of CHF 500 per calendar year for proven costs of travelling to and returning from the hospital in Switzerland
• Planned hospital stays abroad: 100% of the costs with a prior request for payment of costs
• Emergency hospital stays abroad: 100% of the costs until repatriation to Switzerland is feasible
• Household help: CHF 200 per day for up to a maximum of 30 days per calendar year
• Nanny service: maximum of 120 hours nanny services per calendar year for a parent’s inpatient hospital stay
• KidsCare: maximum of 120 hours per calendar year

• Hospital daily benefit: up to a maximum of CHF 300 per day for a maximum of 30 days per calendar year

• Doctor: free choice of doctor for outpatient procedures in recognised partner institutions
• Comfort benefits: separate recovery zone, parking space, taxi home, etc.
• Overnight accommodation: maximum of CHF 400 per treatment up to a maximum of CHF 1,200 per calendar year towards the cost of overnight accommodation
• Planned outpatient hospital stays abroad: 100% of the costs with a prior request for payment of costs

• Emergency hospital stays abroad: 100% of the costs that exceed the benefits covered by basic insurance
